My name is Nickie Gael and I have been working in the Early Childhood field for 20 years.   This site was created to provide families with young children information on child development along with engaging, play-based activities to enjoy with your children.

I am passionate about young families and providing children with the best start available regardless of their abilities. In addition to my current position as a Developmental Specialist and Behavior Consultant, I have also directed childcare and preschool programs, written curriculum and provided continuing education for early childhood professionals. However, the most meaningful experience has been as mother to my two sons who are now in 18 and 15.  These collective experiences have evolved into a family-centered philosophy toward early childhood development that takes into consideration a child’s passions and gifts along with the family-culture to create intervention and education settings that both engage and develop young minds.
